Geeks for Social Change (GFSC) is building open, inclusive digital infrastructure to help communities better see, coordinate, and sustain their activities. Many community groups rely heavily on in-person interactions and fragmented digital tools, which makes collaboration difficult and limits visibility into what’s happening across networks. Through tools like Place Cal, GFSC aims to create shared, open-source systems that make community activity more visible, reduce duplication of effort, and enable communities to learn from and support one another—locally and globally.
